UCAM's 'Culture, Science, Technology and Law' Research Group is participating in the My Organic Way project, co-financed by the European Commission, to promote healthy eating habits and raise awareness among the youth population regarding the importance of consuming organic fruit and vegetables, thereby improving agriculture, the environment and society as a whole.

To encourage these healthy habits among young people, gamified digital content will be used; informative modules and a mobile app called 'My Pet Veggie' will be designed. These digital tools will be created through a partnership composed of the Furim Institutt (Norway), Institoutoto Proothisis kai Pistopoiisis Proionton Agrodiatrofis (Greece), Einurð (Iceland), the Mobile Adventure SP. ZO.O. (Poland), farmers from different areas of Europe and the Research Group 'Culture, Science, Technology and Law' of UCAM, made up of María Méndez Rocasolano (lead researcher), Pablo Javier Miró Colmenárez and Miriam Gómez.

The aim is to promote healthy eating, agricultural practices, gardening and the planting of organic vegetable gardens among young people.

The youngsters will also be informed about the harmful effects, both for their health and for the environment, of the long-term use of pesticides, fertilisers, synthetic products, etc.
