UCAM took Handel's Messiah to the Cathedral
Performers of the Discantus Choir and the UCAM Symphony Orchestra at the concert in the Cathedral of Murcia
Under the conduction of Pilar Vañó, the UCAM Symphony Orchestra, together with the Discantus Choir, conducted by Ángel Carrillo, and the soloists Mariví Blasco, Inés Olabarria, Francisco J. Sánchez and Christopher Robertson, delighted the large audience at the Cathedral of Murcia with a performance of Georg Friedrich Händel's ‘Messiah’. The grand finale was followed with an applauded encore of their ‘Hallelujah’ and a performance of ‘Adeste Fideles’ and ‘Silent Night’. The performance was shown live on Popular TV.
