Grease, The Prince of Egypt, The Bodyguard, Chicago, Les Miserables and The Wizard of Oz are some of the great cinema hits to be performed by the UCAM Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Salvador Pérez, in the show 'Welcome to Broadway'. The event will be held on Saturday 9 November, at 8pm, in the Auditorio Víctor Villegas in Murcia, where the audience will enjoy a great show with several of the musical pieces that have travelled around the world in the New York show.

Alongside the UCAM Symphony Orchestra the Coral Discantus will perform, conducted by Ángel Carrillo, and the soloists: Ana San Martín, Carmen Mateo, Blanca Valido, Marta Heras, Carlos Crooke, Francisco J. Sánchez and Quique Bustos, and the special collaboration of Carmen Valero.

Eugenio Santos, manager of the UCAM Symphony Orchestra, stresses that ‘bringing a selection of musicals to Murcia is always a novelty; last year the public was very pleased with the first “Broadway”, and now we return with the second, with a repertoire full of novelties with respect to the previous edition’.

Tickets for this unique show can now be purchased at the Auditorium's website.
