Within this pathology, Dr. Javier Trujillo, a researcher at UCAM and head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Santa Lucía Hospital in Cartagena, has positioned himself as a world expert thanks to his line of research into deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, which are two common diseases with a high mortality rate.
