UCAM presents a training plan for charity workers in Latin America to the Pope

The Vice Rector of UCAM and Director of the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer John Paul II of the Catholic University of Murcia, Antonio Alcaraz, held a meeting with Pope Francisco, during his visit in the Vatican with bishops Populorum Progressio Foundation and the Pontifical Council Cor Unun. Antonio Alcaraz presented a training plan for charity workers in Latin America at the meeting, chaired by Cardinal Robert Sarah, President of the Pontifical Council,. The project will enable UCAM, in collaboration with Cor Unum, to conduct comprehensive training for social workers and volunteers through the Catholic Church. The training will start in various dioceses in Latin America, "which will serve as a starting point for a larger project that will be implemented progressively in the dioceses that wish" said Antonio Alcaraz
