UCAM, internationally distinguished in sports sciences and biotechnology
In the latest ranking of the Times Higher Education, which selects the top one thousand universities in the world (THE WUR), the Catholic University of Murcia has obtained excellent results in both sports sciences and biotechnology within the Life Sciences category, in which aspects such as teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international perspective are analysed.
UCAM Universidad Católica de Murcia has once again been acknowledged for its firm commitment to the field of health in the latest edition of THE WUR by Subject: Life Sciences & Clinical and Health ranking, one of the most relevant at international level, together with the Shanghai ranking and the QS WUR. This Times Higher Education ranking lists the best universities in the world, evaluating aspects such as teaching, research, knowledge transfer, citations and international perspective, and has acknowledged UCAM for the first time in the Life Sciences category (501-600), especially highlighting its results in sports sciences and biotechnology.
In the Life Sciences area, UCAM is in second place on a national level (40 Spanish universities) in attracting funds from the business sector for the development of research and innovation projects that promote the growth of the corporate community, improving the university-business relationship. Likewise, as to research and citations, UCAM is at the top in the Region according to the data collected by the ranking.
In addition, THE WUR once again selects the Universidad Católica de Murcia in the Clinical and Health category (601+), highlighting the value of degrees related to health sciences. Thus, UCAM once again stands out in this category in the area of income from industries and research. In addition, UCAM University is ranked first in the region in terms of international perspective.
