UCAM improves awareness on the conservation of cultural and natural values
Teachers of the UCAM Spanish courses held a trip to the Regional park Carrascoy and El Valle, Murcia in which they taught their students about historical, cultural and environmental values.
Teachers of the Spanish Coordination Office held an outdoor class for their students at the regional park Carrascoy and El Valle, which is 7 km away from the centre of Murcia. Students had a chance to visit destinations such as the Santuary of La Fuensanta, Hermitage of La Luz and Visitor central of La Luz to study the history, culture and environment of Murcia.
This trip is a combination of sport and culture classes since students must walk in the mountains for half of the trip. “ We thought that outdoor classes can help our students to study easier so we hold trips for the students every month. They will have chance to get knowledge about the history, culture and every aspect of life” – said Marta – instructor of the course. She points out that the purpose of this trip is to improve the student’s awareness of conservation of the cultural and natural values.
