UCAM holds the II Scientific conferences on non-patentable therapies
With the aim of analysing the benefits of natural therapies in the integral health of the human being, the UCAM Faculty of Nursing organised the ‘II scientific conferences non-patentable therapies- UCAM Chairs’.
Experts in this field gathered at this event to address the main causes of the origin of various diseases, as well as the different therapeutic approaches that can contribute to improving the quality of life of patients and that have proven their usefulness in the prevention and treatment of various pathologies.
The Conferences were opened by the UCAM President, María Dolores García, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Paloma Echevarría, and Doctor Luis Prieto. The latter’s presentation was introduced by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Jerónimo Lajara. The event had a hybrid format, with Health Sciences students from the Murcia Campus –who completely packed the conference hall– attending in person, and the students from Cartagena attending online.
Paloma Echeverría underlined that one of the main aims of this meeting is ‘to make the work carried out by the UCAM Chairs in the study and application of these therapies visible, highlighting their impact on people's wellbeing and their complementary nature to conventional treatments’.
