UCAM has signed an agreement with CaixaBank to help students pay their enrolment fees
This is one of the provisions of the collaboration agreement reached between the two institutions.
Universidad Católica de Murcia and CaixaBank have further strengthened their collaboration with a new agreement that includes, among other things, facilitating the payment of undergraduate and master's degree tuition fees for UCAM students. CaixaBank will therefore offer loans with excellent economic conditions.
María Dolores García, UCAM President, and Juan Jesús Lozano, CaixaBank Regional Director, highlighted the importance of the agreement they signed, given the current dynamic of rising interest rates set by the European Central Bank.
The cooperation that the Fundación Universitaria San Antonio and CaixaBank already enjoyed, such as cooperation in social actions – a fundamental area for both institutions – has thus been extended and will also be further developed through the Fundación 'la Caixa'.
Signed on the Los Jerónimos Campus before a number of executives from both institutions, the agreement establishes, in addition to the business and financial relationship, the possibility of identifying, studying and analysing other joint actions and partnerships.
Jesús Lozano underlined that ‘every university student will be able to benefit from extraordinary conditions when paying their annual tuition fees’ and with this ‘our strategic relationship with UCAM is strengthened’. María Dolores García thanked Caixabank for their collaboration with the University in the financial, sports and social fields, with special emphasis on the agreement reached now ‘as it supports family economies, facilitating the payment of tuition fees under excellent conditions so that their children can study at the University of their choice.’
