After the presentations made last week, UCAM FP started the academic year last Monday for the Higher Vocational Training courses that are taught in the UCAM facilities, both in the Murcia Campus and in the UCAM Dental Clinic, located in Avenida Juan Carlos I in Murcia, following the preventive security measures organised regarding the pandemic.

UCAM FP students follow a on-campus and blended learning model that guarantees quality teaching. The San Antonio Higher Institute of Vocational Training offers 10 training courses, among which the Networked Computer Systems Administration course is the novelty, which is taught at Los Jerónimos Campus in Murcia.

José Alarcón, director of UCAM FP, visited the classrooms and launched a message of motivation to the students, so that they “start enthusiastically and with responsibility”. He also confirmed that second year students will be able to carry out their internships with companies with which the San Antonio Institute has signed agreements.

Double degree and access to the university Bachelor’s degree

Once the students of the San Antonio Institute have completed their studies, they will obtain two qualifications: the official diploma of Higher Technician (issued by the Ministry) and the University-Specific Diploma of Higher Technician (issued by UCAM). In addition, they will be able to access university Bachelor’s degree studies related to the degree.
