The Cartagena Campus of the Universidad Católica San Antonio hosted the touching ceremony of the awarding of stoles and diplomas to the students of the sixth class of the Bachelor’s Degrees in Nursing and Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, and the fifth class of Physiotherapy.

The celebration was presided over by María Dolores García, UCAM president, joined by José Jesús Guillén Pérez, president of the Association of Carriers of the Virgen de la Piedad, commencement speaker for this graduating class; Miriam Mendoza, coordinator in charge of the Cartagena Campus; and Juan Alfonso García, academic director of the Cartagena campus, as well as deans and vice-deans.

The figure of the University founder, José Luis Mendoza, who passed away last January, was of special relevance during the speeches, highlighting his affection for this city and the legacy he left. The students' representatives thanked the Universidad Católica for these years of training in a speech in Spanish, French and English.

The Los Dolores Campus continues to grow thanks to its specialisation in the areas of Health and Sports, to being an examination centre for online and blended learning studies and to its internationalisation, with students from 24 countries from four continents, as well as Spanish students from 38 provinces.
