Almost two weeks after the suspension of face-to-face classes due to the Covid-19 crisis, UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia continues via online the teaching activity scheduled in its academic calendar. “UCAM has worked intensely to establish the necessary planning that has allowed to move from one teaching modality to another and to adapt the rest of its staff to teleworking, while at the same time contributing to preserving the health of the entire university community”, highlighted Josefina García, the chancellor.

Following the established academic calendar, the Bachelor’s Degree students begun last week to carry out the first midterm exams, with an average of more than 30 daily tests with which they continue their training, in online modality. The telematic exams will continue next week and will be combined with video conferences and virtual tutoring sessions, tools that enhance the personalised attention that UCAM has been promoting.

In addition, in these days, the whole educational community has normal access from their homes to the different services offered by the University, through the virtual desktop. As a support, the ICT and Multimedia Management has designed a support website that shows how to work remotely, details some tools and resources to facilitate the different tasks. Likewise, a programme of virtual meetings is being developed to ensure the highest quality in all services.
