María Dolores García, UCAM president, and Fernando Felipe Sánchez, rector of the Universidad Católica de Costa Rica, have signed an agreement to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions in training and research.

Fernando Felipe Sánchez has expressed his satisfaction at boosting relations with UCAM, with which he has been working for several years, stressing that ‘I have been extremely impressed by UCAM’s development in sports’.

The two institutions are working together in various knowledge areas and are preparing to launch a postgraduate programme in research. 

Pablo Blesa, UCAM Vice-Rector of International Relations and Communication, stressed that, in addition to the implementation of a master's degree, ‘we collaborate through the exchange of students and professors’, also highlighting ‘the special interest in establishing synergies in sports.’
