The UCAM 2019 University Welcome Event has started this morning at the Pergolas Square and it has gathered thousands of students, who have participated in the different activities scheduled for today. Throughout the morning, both students and teachers have enjoyed coffee and sushi tastings. On the other hand, the students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Dance have performed a contemporary dance show. In addition, the University has opened many stands for students to know the services it offers.

The sporting touch has been added by the Spanish women's beach volleyball pair formed by Liliana Fernández and Elsa Baquerizo, who recently qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Students have had the opportunity to challenge them by playing against them. Furthermore, they have visited the different stands to learn about the services and activities offered by the University.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the II UCAM University Poplar One-Mile Run is scheduled to take place, as well as a crossfit exhibition at the UCAM Sports Center. Finally, the event will end with the UCAMPaella that the University has organised in the parking annexed to the main entrance of the Campus.
