Online graduation ceremony of three international Master’s degrees
UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia held the online graduation ceremony of the fourth and fifth classes of the Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management, the eighth class of the Master’s Degree in Innovation and Tourism Marketing and the fifth class of the Master’s Degree in European Union Studies and Human Rights.
This event was held at Los Jerónimos Campus with the vice-chancellor of International Relations at UCAM, Pablo Blesa, in the presence of a small group of students, while others were able to follow the event via streaming from their countries.
The students of these postgraduate courses comes from 22 different nations, including European countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Holland and Germany; Asian countries, such as India and Vietnam; or African countries, such as Cameroon.
Pablo Blesa stressed that “there was a very strong emphasis by the students on graduating and this graduation is iconic, symbolic but real, in two realities, virtual and face-to-face, in parallel. It brings together a number of students from different backgrounds and different orientations, people who arrived in Spain just over a year ago in a context of ongoing globalisation, where crossing borders, reaching territories and being absent was very easy and now the panorama has been completely transmuted, and we find a group of brave people who are very excited, who have had a very positive experience in Spain and Murcia, as can be seen in this desire to graduate”.
