The UCAM Youth Orchestra, in collaboration with the University Section of the Discantus Choir, has programmed three extraordinary concerts for this Lent, bringing sacred music to emblematic places in the Region of Murcia.

The first performance took place today, last Friday, at 9pm. in the Church of El Carmen (Murcia); it was a sacred concert, organised by the Archicofradía de la Sangre (Archconfraternity of the Blood), as part of the 40th anniversary of the 'Jesús en casa de Lázaro' (Jesus in Lazaro's house). Later, on Tuesday 25th March, at 8pm. in the Teatro Circo de Murcia, the UCAM Youth Orchestra and the University Section of the Coral Discantus will perform the concert 'Vintage’ during the gala in benefit of the ON-OFF Parkinson Association of the Region of Murcia, on its XXV Anniversary. Then, 'Oficios de Tinieblas', of the ‘Murcia Sacra’ programme organised by the Murcia City Council will be the last performance of this month of March in which both groups will participate together; it is scheduled for Monday 31st, at 8.30pm, in the Church of San Juan Bautista in Murcia.
Also, on April 1st, at 7pm, in the Church of Las Anas (Murcia), the UCAM Youth Orchestra will participate in the emotion-filled act of the Angel’s Proclamation, organised by the Real y Muy Ilustre Cabildo Superior de Cofradías de Murcia (Royal and Most Illustrious Superior Chapter of Brotherhoods).
