UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, through the Faculty of Nursing, participates in the European project ST-Tech (Digital tools and methods for Safe Transfer Techniques for Caregivers in Today Health Care Sector). This research, which is part of the Erasmus+KA2 call and co-financed by the European Commission, aims to develop a manual of good practices for transferring patients to different locations (stretchers, wheelchairs, ambulances, etc.), so that both the patient and the caregivers have the least chance of being injured during the transfers made. A digital platform and training activity will be developed from this manual.

The UCAM Faculty of Nursing acts as a partner in a partnership with members from five other countries: Municipality of Aarhus (Denmark), Via University College (Denmark), College of Applied Sciences Lavoslav Ruzicka in Vukovar (Croatia) Research Centre on Interactive Media, Smart Systems and Emerging Technologies (Cyprus) and Västerås Stad, Vård och Omsorgsförvaltningen (Sweden).
