The degrees in Civil Engineering and Telecommunications Technology Engineering of the Universidad Católica de Murcia are the first in Spain in terms of job placement according to the 2022 ranking of the Knowledge and Development Foundation (CYD). Both degrees are, at national level, the ones with the highest number of high-performance indicators in the employability category.

Civil Engineering stands out in particular, as UCAM is the only university in Spain to score the highest on all eight indicators in the employability section: Social Security affiliation rate (after one year), self-employment rate (after one year), permanent contract rate (after one year), employment rate (after one year), Social Security affiliation rate (after 4 years), self-employment rate (after 4 years), permanent contract rate (after 4 years) and employment rate (after 4 years).

Following UCAM Civil Engineering in this category of the CYD ranking are the universities of the Balearic Islands, Burgos and Salamanca. Other outstanding indicators of this degree at the Universidad Católica are the low drop-out rate, the external and private funds for research (raised and liquidated), the publication of doctoral theses and the number of students of bachelor's and master's degrees from other autonomous communities.

In the case of the Universidad Católica's Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering, the results are also excellent, as it is the first in Spain in its category, with the highest number of high-performance indicators in job placement (seven out of eight). Just behind UCAM are universities such as Alicante, Zaragoza or the Complutense of Madrid.

In addition to the employability of its graduates, Teleco at UCAM receives the highest score by CYD in the qualification of the teaching staff, external and private funds for research (raised and liquidated), interdisciplinary publications, publications per lecturer and the presence of foreign students and students from other autonomous communities.

The Degree in Computer Engineering of the Universidad Católica also stands out in several categories at national level, including the qualification of the teaching staff, external and private research funds (raised and liquidated), doctoral theses, interdisciplinary publications, publications together with companies, postdoctoral studies, regional publications and the rate of affiliation to Social Security and employment within four years after obtaining the degree.
