Welcome message from UCAM and GCTP
The GCTP and UCAM, based on a common and shared misión, are playing an important role in preparing peacebuilders and tolerance advocators ready to face and respond to the challenges of the multi-cultural present such as violence, terrorism, aggressive nationalism, racism, exclusion, marginalization and discrimination.
In a world ravaged by conflict and hate, we strongly believe Higher education has a key role to play in preparing changemakers, leaders, entrepreneurs, critical thinkers, and decision-makers, ready to respond to the many challenges confronting today’s multi-cultural societies, including distrust, violence, terrorism, aggressive nationalism, racism, exclusion, marginalization and discrimination.
Both institutions will work on teaching new generations the importance of refusing violence and adopting peaceful means for resolving disagreements and conflicts. We will work constructively and incessantly on forging in leaders and peoples feelings of openness, respect toward others, solidarity and sharing based on a sense of security in one's own identity and a capacity to recognize the many dimensions of being human in different cultural and social contexts.
Welcome to the Master - UCAM´s President José Luis Mendoza Pérez and GCTP's President Ahmed Bin Mohammad Al-Jarwan
