Mission

The International Projects Office (OPRI) is a unit attached to the Vice-Rector's Office for Research, responsible for the international management of UCAM's scientific projects.

The OPRI was created to strengthen collaboration with new partners from all over the world in the field of research. This unit, which is aimed at the entire university community, both researchers and students, was created in 2012 and already has alliances in 36 countries, where they have participated in a total of 57 projects from different areas of the continent.

UCAM stands out in Europe for being the leader of projects such as "LIFE CLEAN UP", for the cleaning of waste water with cyclo-textrines; which has a total budget of 1.5M euros and international visibility. In addition, UCAM, through the OPRI, has experience leading international projects in important calls such as "LIVERUR", and "POCBIOPEP".

The University has researchers with Marie Curie postdoctoral contracts, for the study of cellular indicators in blood from the intake of POrk Cured BIOactive PEPtides. Likewise, UCAM has recently been recognized by European institutions for its work in research and management of sports projects, such as dual career and leadership (training + sport + employability), coordinating the projects "ESTPORT" and "ESLP", in the modality ERASMUS + SPORT.
