Mission
The mission of the Language Department at UCAM is the teaching and promotion of foreign languages in the university community, thus contributing through student-centred teaching to a better academic, technical, work and cultural formation of the students. Through its research work, it contributes to the knowledge and development of the different areas that comprise applied linguistics, translation and literature.
Vision
The Language Department will promote and motivate the teaching-learning and research of foreign languages through quality processes and in a constant search for an educational community with a mastery of communicative skills in foreign languages.
Functions
Teaching in English, French and German language specifically for those Degrees that contemplate it within their curricula.
