Our university offers a wide variety of cultural and social events through this programme, Agenda Ñ. It has been designed for you to enjoy your university experience and your time in Murcia to the fullest!
From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Language School Office, Building 9
Agenda Ñ coordinator: Charo Gomariz
Agenda Ñ was set up in 2015 with the goal of providing both international and national students with a number of inclusive co-curricular activities related to sports and culture. The events in this programme have become a meeting point for students from all over the globe; a way to get to know our region and to collect unique memories from your stay in Murcia.
Our activities range from rafting to guided tours through Murcia and Cartagena. Sometimes, students meet up for language tandems while enjoying a cup of coffee; other times, we take them out to learn salsa and flamenco. Our students are able to try activities like paragliding, rock climbing, trips to the beach, or even take part in raffles and photography contests.
How can I sign up?
Click on the event you are interested in and pay with credit card in order to save your spot. The sooner you sign up, the better, since organisers need to know the number of people attending. Afterwards, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details of the activity: the date and time, whether or not you will need to wear any special clothing, an emergency contact, etc. Should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact Charo Gomariz, coordinator of Agenda Ñ, or come directly to our office, located in the Escuela Superior de Idiomas (ESI) of the UCAM, building 9.
Who is this programme for?
Our university is a meeting point for people from different countries, cultures and languages. You do not have to be an international student to participate in our events; Spanish students can also join us -in fact, they should! It is the perfect excuse to practise other languages and make new friends.
Join us! You will be most welcomed!
IMPORTANT: Our events have been adapted to comply with the current COVID-19 regulations. In any case, the essence of this programme remains intact: we look forward to hosting plenty of fun activities for you! For further information, check the university resources, guidelines and adopted measures regarding the COVID-19 situation.
Would you like to learn a new language?
The main objective of the UCAM Language School (ESI) is to promote the study of modern languages as part of the internalisation process of university life. Besides, learning a new language will help improve employment opportunities as well as boost social adaptation.
