First talk of the Scientific Entrepreneurship Conferences of UCAM

Over the next few months, the Universidad Católica de Murcia will be holding a series of scientific talks at its high-tech incubator, focused on the promotion of business innovation, to help researchers launch their proposals in the fields of R&D in the areas of health, sports, and food. UCAM scientists will be trained by leading scientific entrepreneurs in various industries, such as food, biomedicine, agriculture, etc.  

 

This conference was inaugurated with the speech of Daniel Ramón Vidal, R&D director of the Bioactives Unit at the Archer Daniels Midland Company, who mentored on topics related to entrepreneurship and innovation in the food industry. Luis Tejada Portero, director of the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI), and César Nicolás Martínez, director of the UCAM Murcia Institute of Technology, presented the event. 

 

Chema Lagarón, head of the Joint Unit CSIC-UJI in Polymer Technology; and Elena Rivas, CEO at A4Cell (microchips with live cells) and vice-president of the Spanish Association of Biotechnology Companies (ASEBIO) in the Spanish Association of Biocompanies, will take part in the following events.
