UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia and the Construction Labour Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement through which students and teachers will be able to carry out internship periods and sessions linked to the real practice of Architecture and Building Engineering in the prevention centres of the Foundation in Alhama.

Luis Fernández, president of the Construction Labour Foundation in the Territorial Council of Murcia, was present during the signing of the agreement and explained that “students will hold seminars on materials for occupational risk prevention, employability, architectural systems and topics related to the construction industry”.

Juan Roldán, director of the Bachelor’s Degrees in Architecture and Building Engineering, was present on behalf of UCAM. He stated that the Construction Labour Foundation has many similarities with our school in terms of the subjects it develops, and this makes it possible for UCAM students, teachers and the general faculty of the Higher Polytechnic School to develop activities of the Foundation.

“Next year we will develop common exercises and will insert them into the general programme of the school, so that the seminars on construction materials of security installations, which are jointly developed by both the Foundation and the University, can begin to work”, concludes Juan Roldán.
