The Parish of San Francisco de Asís (Capuchinos), Murcia, is where the ecumenical gathering took place, celebrated by Monsignor José Manuel Lorca Planes, bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, with the participation of representatives of the Catholic, Anglican, and Evangelical Churches, and of Orthodox Patriarchates. María Dolores García, UCAM president, directed part of her words to the attendees, underlining the meaning of this gathering of all Christians and recalled the role of her husband, José Luis Mendoza, as founder of UCAM. This gathering was the closing event of Murcia’s 22nd International Charity and Volunteering Conference, in which more than 100 social entities have participated.

As an extension of this event, from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 March, the 6th International Display of Charity and Volunteering will be celebrated in the city of Cartagena.
