UCAM calls for collaboration with the 3D printing of medical supply

Due to the lack of protective means for the health professionals, the community ‘Coronavirus Makers of Murcia (CV19_FAB_MURCIA)’ launched a project focused on the 3D printing of items destined to the fabrication of protective material, for which it is in contact with the Murcia Health Service.

UCAM joined this initiative through the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Systems Engineering, so that some teachers and students have already started to produce face visors.

The Vice-Chancellorship for Research appeals to all the students or workers of the university who have a 3D printer and want to participate. In turn, the collaborating companies who wish to support this initiative are also welcome.

Anybody who is interested can contact Miriam Mendoza, teacher of the Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Systems Engineering (Teleco) mmendoza@ucam.edu.
