The Royal Academy of Medicine gives an award to the student with the best academic record of UCAM

Paula Molina Garrigós, who accessed the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine of UCAM with a 13.52 mark in the university entrance exam, obtained an average mark of 9.255 in the degree and 50 distinction marks. Yesterday, Paula Molina Garrigós, who graduated recently from the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, received the award to the best academic record in the Opening Ceremony for the 2020 academic year of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of the Region of Murcia.


The prize-giving ceremony took place in the Event Room of the Archaeological Museum, with the participation of the president of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of the Region of Murcia, María Trinidad Herrero Ezquerro, and Jerónimo Jesús Lajara Blesa, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia.


Paula Molina Garrigós accessed the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine with an average mark of 13.52 in the university entrance exam and she finished the degree with an average mark of 9.255 and 50 distinction marks. Now she is studying for the Resident Medical Intern exams (MIR), that she will take on January 25 and she shows her predilection for the speciality in Anaesthesia.


96% of students who graduated last year in Medicine at UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia passed the MIR and they were able to choose their favourite speciality thanks to their excellent marks. Likewise, the average mark of UCAM students who took civil service examinations is a clear indicator of their level of training, which is above the national average.
