Family members of the UCAM founder and hundreds of people attended the concert given by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Universidad Católica de Murcia conducted by Salvador Pérez, accompanied by the Discantus Choir conducted by Ángel Carrillo, and the soloists Guiomar Cantó (soprano), Blanca Valido (mezzo-soprano), Francisco J. Sánchez (tenor) and Antonio Torres (baritone).
This majestic performance of the Requiem, one of W.A. Mozart's masterpieces, moved the audience, in a concert in which the figure of José Luis Mendoza, who passed away last 18 January, was always present, and who has received numerous posthumous tributes and honours over the last month.
