A minute of silence and a prayer held at UCAM for the victims of the terrorist attacks

International students, among who a group of French students, took part to the event

Hundreds of people, including students, teachers, administration and service staff of the Catholic University of Murcia, stopped all activity today at noon in a tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris. Numerous international students studying at UCAM participated, among who a group of French students. Luis Emilio Pascual, chaplain of UCAM, said a few words to the audience expressing his revulsion for these attacks and his wish that nothing of this kind would be repeated in Europe or anywhere else in the world. At twelve o'clock, on the Plaza de las Pergolas, one minute of silence was held. The crowd was further invited to join in an Our Father for the souls of the victims of the attacks.
