During fifteen days, they will follow the ‘Spanish Winter Program’, through which they will learn Spanish and they will discover both the culture and the landmarks of the Region

UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia keeps strengthening ties with China, the country from which comes the group of student welcomed to study Spanish in Los Jerónimos Campus during two weeks, an initiative framed within the ‘Spanish Winter Program’. Apart from the training in languages, various excursions are envisaged for the students, to know some of the landmarks of the Region such as the Cathedral of Murcia and the Roman ruins of Cartagena, among others. The aim of the course, after their stay, is for the “the students to be able to communicate in Spanish at a basic level and, furthermore, to learn as much as possible about our culture”, explained Carolina Padilla, director of the programme.


UCAM-China, an increasingly important pairing


The ’Spanish Winter Program’ is a part of the strategy that UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia is carrying out and directed towards the Asian giant, where a lot of diverse actions have been implemented such as the ’Spanish Winter Program’, apart from the signing of cooperation agreements with various institutions such as Xuewei International Business Academy Group, one of the most important business schools of Asia. It must be noted that the Ministry of Education of China included UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia in the list of universities recommended for studying abroad.
