Ginesa is the Head of the Tourism Department. She is a graduate of Geography and History and holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Murcia. Ginesa has professional experience in tourism consulting and quality management. She lectures at UCAM, educating students in the fields of Sustainable Tourism Planning, Quality and Innovation Management as well as Public Management of Tourism. Moreover, Ginesa is currently dedicated to researching the segment of Tourism Planning.
She holds a PhD in Economics from the Universidad de Alicante and a Master in Communication from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Throughout her career she has combined teaching, research and university management. She is a lecturer at the UCAM and Coordinator of Master’s in Innovation and Tourism Marketing at UCAM.
Lecturer in the Department of Tourism at Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) since 2014. PhD. in Tourism Geography from the University of Alicante (2013), Bachelor’s Degree in Geography with Honors (2008), Degree in Tourism (2003), Master’s in Planning and Tourism Management (2009) and Master’s in Natural Protected Areas Management (2012). As a member of the research groups “Planning and Development for the Tourism Competitiveness (Tourism Department, UCAM) and “Planning and Sustainable Management of Tourism” (Institute for Tourism Research, University of Alicante), she has participated in several national and international research projects and is the author of different publications, both in books and scientific journals.
