For all those who want to become sports managers or athletic trainers, UCAM offers two interesting Master’s programmes fully taught in English.

Following the Anglo-Saxon model, sport is part of the DNA of the University, which counts, in fact, 21 federated teams, sponsored or managed directly by the university. In 2017, the UCAM ranked first in the Spanish university medal table with 121 medals. At the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, UCAM participated with 60 athletes, winning 15 medals, thus becoming the second university in the World at the Rio Games for the number of medals.

Also for this reason, UCAM is leader in sports professionals training. The University offers two Master’s in English for one year: the MBA - Sports Management and the Master's in High Performance Sport: Strength and Conditioning.

MBA - Sports Management

Born with the support of the Spanish Olympic Committee, it is an innovative programme designed to train future Sport Managers. The MBA - Sports Management is an official one-year title (60 ECTS), fully taught in English.

Thanks to an excellent training provided by industry professionals, students are prepared for a wide range of roles and professional profiles to hold positions of leadership within sports companies or become entrepreneurs.

During the course, an International trip to Dubai is scheduled, included in the price, during which will be visited the most innovative sports facilities, such as the Ferrari City, the Dubai Sport City and the Hammdan Sport Complex.

Moreover, during the academic year, students will have a period of practice at sports clubs (such as, for example, those belonging to the Spanish La Liga) or at sports facilities to be able to put into practice what they learned in the classroom.

Students and professionals from different sectors can access the programme, they need to have a  Bachelor’s degree and have at least a B2 level of English. The Master offers direct access to University research programmes.

The places are limited to ensure the quality of teaching, in fact, 25 students are admitted each year.

Registration is open. The program starts in October 2018.

Master's in High Performance Sports: Strength and Conditioning

It is the first programme in Spain to receive the recognition of the U.S. National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), it allows participants to acquire advanced training on high performance sports, thanks to cutting-edge laboratories and teachers, renowned International specialists in the field.

The Master's in High Performance Sport: Strength and Conditioning is an official one-year title (60 ECTS), fully taught in English.

Students will learn to use the most advanced technologies in the field of high performance sports and will experiment with top-level athletes who play in teams sponsored by the University (such as the Liga ACB "Endesa", UCAM Murcia CF, etc .. ).

Students and professionals with a background in Sport Sciences (or equivalent) who hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least a B1 level of English can access the programme. The Master’s offers direct access to University research programmes.

The places are limited to ensure the quality of teaching, in fact, 25 students are admitted each year.

Registration is open. The program starts in January 2019.
