Early in her career she collaborated on various tourism research projects led by Alicante University, The CEU University in La Paz, Bolivia and the University of Tamaulipas, in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico. Later, she specialised in Online Marketing and Web Project Management, working overseas for top level companies such as VisitBritain (London and NY), Maybourne Hotels Group (London) and, in Spain, for Agencia Valenciana de Turismo (Generalitat Valenciana), Insignia Marketing Club-MIC Ltd and Quara Group, among others.

Since 1989 he works in the marketing department working in the development and management of the Autonomous Government of Valencia Tourist Info network, and since 1996 he works in the Marketing Department specially focused on marketing and promotion of products and markets of interest. More than 20 years of experience in marketing and product development services, services design, leisure, hospitality and tourism. He collaborates as a professional teacher in several Spanish academic institution.

Among his professional career as Marketing Director, he is a lecturer of different masters and bachelors at UCAM in the field of Marketing and Leadership.

Besides she holds a PhD in economics (New technologies applied to tourism). All this, being combined with more than 12 years of experience in the tourism sector of the Region of Murcia.
Associate professor in Marketing and Market Research at the University of Alicante (UA). Author of several books on marketing, among them 'Comercialización y retailing' (Marketing and retailing) and 'Valores de los consumidores' (Consumer values), as well as articles on retailing. Research work focused on shopping behaviour, retailing, experiential marketing and educational innovation research, fields in which she has published several high-impact articles. Her teaching hours are shared between UA and the IÉSEG at the University of Lille (Lille and Paris, France).
