For students’ practical training, the Faculty of Communication has its own professional facilities, equipped with the latest technology.
Students have at their disposal a fully equipped television studio: set, control room, post production room, viewing room, make-up room and editorial department.
In these facilities, students make, during the course of a subject, a full audiovisual production – shorts, corporate videos, documentaries, adverts, fiction and entertainment programs, news…
RADIO STUDIO AND PROFESSIONAL SOUND EQUIPMENT
With regard to the radio, the UCAM has opened two professional radio studios where students can practice and also develop voluntary programs to take part in Iradio, the UCAM online radio network, the students’ radio.
In short, we train students so that they can have enough versatility and capacity to face the challenges of the current audiovisual market.
When students leave our classrooms, they can practice as scriptwriters, producers, filmmakers, broadcast professionals, audiovisual consultants and designers. Our students are qualified to both set up their own company and join production companies and audiovisual and online media.
At the UCAM students are encouraged to develop their own projects and personal works. From the University, students are supported through the professors’ advice and the technical equipment borrowing. This allows students to take part in competitions and festivals and to start their careers as designers even before leaving the faculty.
